New Content for Young Viewers

CBeebies iPlayer is introducing a variety of new shows this March, enhancing its programming for young audiences. Among the highlights are urban gardening adventures in I Can Grow It, a time-traveling exploration in Andy’s Dino Island, and a creative crafting series titled Monster Makes.

CBBC Expands Its Offerings

In addition to CBeebies, CBBC is also rolling out exciting new content. One notable show features a Girl Troop taking on aliens, while another series, Deadly 60, hosted by Steve Backshall, tracks extraordinary creatures, captivating young viewers with thrilling wildlife adventures.

Celebrating a Cultural Milestone

March also marks the 30th anniversary of the iconic series This Life, which originally aired in 1996. This show, a cultural touchstone of the 1990s, followed the lives of young lawyers in London and is set to return to BBC Four and iPlayer.

Series 1 and 2 of This Life will be available on iPlayer starting at 6am on March 18, with Daniela Nardini introducing the repeat run at 10pm the same day.

Claudia Winkleman’s Excitement

Claudia Winkleman, who hosts The Claudia Winkleman Show on the BBC, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to be part of this celebration. “I can’t quite believe it and I’m incredibly grateful to the BBC for this amazing opportunity,” she stated. Winkleman humorously added, “I’m obviously going to be awful, that goes without saying, but I’m over the moon they’re letting me try.”

As CBeebies iPlayer continues to evolve, these new adventures and classic series are expected to engage and entertain its young audience. Details remain unconfirmed on any additional programming or future updates beyond March.
