LEGO Tintin Moon Rocket Set to Launch in 2026
The LEGO Tintin Moon Rocket is set to be released on April 1, 2026, featuring a total of 1,283 pieces and priced at $159.99. This highly anticipated set is inspired by the classic Tintin comic books, specifically Destination Moon and Explorers on the Moon.
The rocket boasts a striking red-and-white chequered design and includes six minifigures: Tintin, Captain Haddock, Professor Calculus, Thomson, Thompson, and Snowy. A notable feature of the set is a hidden control room that allows builders to recreate the moment Tintin and his crew first saw Earth from space.
Designed by fan creator Alexis Dos Santos, the set was submitted through the LEGO Ideas program, where it garnered 10,000 votes to gain approval from the LEGO Ideas Review Board. “Creating the Tintin Moon Rocket has been an incredible journey,” said Dos Santos. He added, “I hope the build sparks the same sense of imagination and adventure that inspired me from the very beginning.”
The LEGO Group, founded in 1932 in Billund, Denmark, has a long history of creating beloved toys that inspire creativity and storytelling. This new set is targeted at adults aged 18 and older, reflecting the growing trend of adult fans engaging with LEGO products.
Pre-orders for the LEGO Tintin Moon Rocket are available now, with the set expected to be a popular addition to collectors’ shelves. It will be available for purchase via LEGO.com and at LEGO Stores worldwide.
As the release date approaches, fans are eager to see how this set will be received in the market. Details remain unconfirmed regarding any additional features or promotional events surrounding the launch.
