Tickets for the Dundee event are currently on sale, while those for Edinburgh will be available starting at 11am on Wednesday.
Anticipation for the events is high, with approximately 4,000 tickets expected to go on sale. Theroux, who is 55 years old, has garnered significant acclaim throughout his career, winning three BAFTAs, an RTS award, and the Grierson Trustees’ Award for his impactful documentaries.
His latest documentary focused on Israeli settlers in the West Bank, continuing his tradition of exploring complex social issues and unusual communities. Theroux began his television career in the mid-1990s after graduating from Oxford and has since created several BAFTA-winning series, including ‘Louis Theroux’s Weird Weekends’ and ‘When Louis Met…’.
In addition to his documentary work, Theroux has also ventured into the world of fashion. He recently collaborated with Angry Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, on a new JD x Nike range that launched on March 5, 2026. This collaboration aims to spotlight individuals who have made significant cultural contributions.
The JD x Nike campaign features a jacket priced at £90 and a graphic tee at £35, both worn by Theroux. The campaign has received positive feedback, with comments highlighting the authenticity of the celebrity endorsement.
Ryan Crighton, involved in the campaign, remarked, “True Stories is built on a very simple idea – that people are fascinated by the moments that shape remarkable lives.” This sentiment reflects the essence of Theroux’s work, which often delves into the stories behind extraordinary individuals.
As the event dates approach, fans and followers are eager for further updates. Details remain unconfirmed regarding additional performances or potential surprises during the events.
